David Pollock

David Pollock is an esteemed leader and advocate for diversity in technology. As the Executive Director of Code Black, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering everyone including Black and Latinx technologists in Nebraska, David is committed to fostering innovation and professional growth within these communities. With a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Bellevue University, David's expertise is underpinned by a rich technical background, including certifications in IBM Cognitive Analytics, Google app development, and drone software development, alongside proficiency in Java, C++, and Python.

Prior to founding Code Black, David dedicated nearly a decade to program development and mentorship, serving as a Fatherhood Coordinator and a College Success Advisor. His passion for coaching and community engagement has culminated in his current role, where he leads initiatives to create meaningful impact through technology. David's vision extends beyond professional development; he seeks to inspire collaboration and sponsorship among emerging and seasoned tech professionals, driving forward the mission of Code Black to enrich the lives of those in the very community he calls home.
