Peer Support Specialist
Fremont Area Veterans Coalition is an organization that helps overcome challenges by connecting Veterans with valued and life-changing programs. A partnership with Lutheran Family Services addresses the specific needs of families, such as short-term and critical financial assistance, long-term stability, and recurring support. Fremont Area Veterans Coalition offers Peer support through Buddy Checks and for recreational activities
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Dedicated to helping veterans with PTSD through a variety of programs and services. We understand that the transition back to civilian life can be challenging, especially for those who have experienced trauma during their time in the military. Our goal is to provide support and resources to help our veterans lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
Deployed Family Support
Supports these families to cover basic needs in regard to rent/mortgage assistance, food and healthcare support.
Veteran Affordable Housing
At the Fremont Area Veterans Coalition, we’re dedicated to providing our veterans with affordable housing opportunities. We understand the struggles that veterans can face when looking for a comfortable, safe and affordable place to live. Our partnership with the United Way help provide affordable housing.
