Professional Bio
Since 1991 Gina Tomes has spearheaded and empowered individuals and human services pro-life programming and housing for women who are pregnant, homeless, experiencing crisis and choose life. Functioning as a leader, Gina provides administrative oversight of daily staff activity and house operations. She aims to drive community support and awareness by presenting educational speeches to the public. Gina has been invited to speak on behalf of maternity homes around the nation to help bring more awareness, program effectiveness and funding to all.
Gina’s passion to serve women experiencing a crisis pregnancy. This led her to help launch and become co-founder of the Bethlehem House in Omaha Nebraska. Over the past 20 years, her determination, devotion, and heart has been instrumental in developing a flagship maternity home that has proven outcomes. Gina’s programming development encompasses healthy family structures, addiction, and recovery treatment, parenting classes, faith formation, sexual integrity, theology of the body, health and wellness, career counseling, grief, and case management supervision.
Gina works tirelessly for clients regarding legal matters such as child protective services case management oversight, and criminal history. Gina is a forever advocate for individuals who want and work to rehabilitate their life. Maternity Home Consulting is something close to Gina’s heart therefore she will continue to do everything in her power to help coach, mentor, and educate maternity homes to grow and enhance their services. Gina considers maternity homes to be a powerful intervention in a woman’s life that can lead to ending homeless, poverty, addiction, abuse and introducing faith pathways that lead to families feeling connected, loved, and living the life God has intended for them.
