Judith Obodougo

Judith Ngozi Obodougo is originally from Nigeria in West Africa.
She is a former Senior Health Educator with Lincoln Nebraska's Department of Health and Human Services. She gained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, to work in the health field. She is a hardworking lady, and passionate about helping people and her community. She is one of the hardworking students at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Public Health Department coupled with being involved in her community. She’s an acting Board Member in one of the student organizations called Bridge to Care and an active Board Member of the National Council of Negro Women Omaha Sector and the regional sector. She never passes up an opportunity to help anyone she crosses her path. She is very involved with her Alumni during school volunteer days in she is a member of the Young Alumni Academy. She is going to be one of the great public health professionals in Omaha judging by her work ethic. She launched a local business in the midst of the pandemic in 2020 named God’s Got Your Back, LLC which was in combination with her self-authored book on self-help. She is a two-time author, and a nonprofit founder named Calistus Multiple Myeloma Foundation in honor of her late father who passed away from myeloma cancer in 2016. She is heading to the beauty world as she launches her beauty line on June 12th, 2021 named “Judy Beauty” to bring affordable beauty products to women, especially single mothers. She also gave a talk show called “The Judy Talk Show” where she invites other female entrepreneurs and professionals like her to promote their businesses, careers, and anything they want the public to know about within the community. She gained her Certificate in Public Health from UNMC. She also gained her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center and did her coursework project Capstone on Multiple Myeloma Cancer.
