Professional Bio
Leontyne, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, discovered her passion for breaking the cycle of unhealthy relationships during her studies on the human brain's impact on connections. Graduating from Bellevue University with a degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science, she became a Domestic Violence Intervention Specialist, Trained Mediator, and Life Coach. Furthering her education, Leontyne earned a master's in clinical counseling, dedicating herself to helping individuals build and maintain healthier relationships.
In her role as a licensed therapist, she guides survivors, facilitates groups, and organizes events promoting self-discovery and self-love. As the owner of The Relationship Corner in private practice, Leontyne empowers individuals through education and resources. Her published works and advocacy efforts have earned her recognition, with appearances in major news outlets and accolades such as the Midlands Business Journal's 40 under 40 award in 2020, Ten Young Outstanding Omahans in 2021, and The African American Leadership Award from The Urban League Of Nebraska 2024.
