Presented by INA Director Bethany Snyder
Bethany Snyder, MPP, is the founder of Snyder Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that supports nonprofits in creating effective advocacy programs. With nearly 25 years of experience in communications, advocacy, and public affairs, she has worked as a grassroots advocacy director, lobbyist, consultant, comms director, and US Senate staffer.
In addition to her advocacy clients, Bethany currently serves as the Director of the Iowa Nonprofit Alliance, which represents Iowa’s 23,000 nonprofit organizations and its dedicated professionals.
Bethany holds a BA from the University of Iowa and a master's in public policy from the University of Minnesota. She is also deeply involved in her community, leading Central Iowa Rainbow Families, serving as Chair of One Iowa Action and the Urbandale Civil Rights Commission, and serving on the Family Equality board.
