You have put in the effort to create a strategic plan, workplan, theory of change, or a logic model—or maybe all of these. But how can you effectively understand the extent to which the work you have planned is actually accomplishing what you hope to achieve? In other words, how do you measure your successes?

Join this interactive training to refine your program and organizational outcomes and understand the pros and cons of various data tracking systems. At the end of this training, you will have:

• Defined or refined at least one outcome for your work
• Developed a feasible, high-quality, ethical plan for collecting and tracking relevant data
• Gained insights into the pros and cons of various data tracking systems

Meet Your Trainer:

Dr. Catherine Brown is the Founder and CEO of CBES, LLC, which provides evaluation capacity building services to clients who are committed to advancing the public interest, value inclusion, and appreciate the power of data. Prior to launching her consulting business, Catherine held positions at the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), Booz Allen Hamilton, the Brookings Institution, and the Smithsonian. She holds degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (PhD, Public Administration), the University of Kentucky (MA, International Relations; MA, Anthropology), US Naval War College (MA, National Security), and Mount Holyoke College (BA, Anthropology; BA, English). Catherine is a CITI-certified and ToP® trained consultant, as well as an active member of the of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and a board member of its local affiliate, the Nebraska Evaluation Network (NEN).
