DED Grantee Training: Planning and Using Grant Funds Strategically

Intentionality in program planning can maximize impact and increase sustainability. This interactive workshop will delve into the fundamentals grant recipients need to strategically plan and effectively use grant funds. Through practical exercises and collaborative discussions, participants will have an opportunity to learn useful tools for developing a clear vision, outlining goals and objectives, and generating a plan for implementation.

Meet Your Trainer:
Sarena Dacus is a consultant, facilitator, trainer and coach working both locally and nationally to support the professional growth and development of all those she has the honor to partner with. In 2021, Ms. Dacus joined the National Center on Health Behavior Health & Safety as a Senior Training & Technical Assistance Associate. As a member of the training and technical assistance team, she works to support the learning and professional development of early childhood systems to foster healthy and safe environments, programs and services for children and families.
